Fernandez Music was established in 1985 but my experience with Spanish luthiers extends back to 1965 when my father and I started to deal with guitarmakers from his homeland. Since the 1990's I have imported over 13,000 guitars and I have personally set-up the last 8,000 of them. ANNOUNCEMENT: Since my birthday in October 2013 and I have been settling into a quasi "retirement". I have not slowed down but rather I have partially changed direction. I have stopped distributing to dealers. However, I continue to handle a small quantity of good instruments which I make, design, refurbish, set-up or French Polish and sell directly to individual players. The other part of my time is now spent on video projects dealing with music topics and cultural history/archaeology of Southern California. (Ron Fernandez)
