This piece is from Reynaldo Varella's Methodo para Aprender a tocar Guitarra Portugueza Sem auxilio de professor (Method to Learn to play the Portuguese Guitarra without a teacher) published in 1925.The original title was "Variações em tom maior". The structure of this piece is very similar to the Fado Menor de Reynaldo Varella in Section 10a: there are 10 sections, most sections have a 2 chord harmony, the melodies have similar arpeggio and scale patterns.
